24 hours self video

seen straight story. a greek movie  settled in a world where gay is the normality and straight is the ‘anomalia’. fun, quite catchy here and there, saucy european humour. the end was predictable. it was easy to realize from the very beginning that the movie is about raising awareness on the gay community.

seen choke. i’m in a bad mental shape if i feel like losing my memories at the movies. choke was supposed to be a comedy, but it was damn serious and depressive for my state, yet very well composed.

quick updates

my water bill, 7 april – 5 july is 2.37 euros.

finished reading Compulsory Happiness, Norman Manea. not very impressed.

reading Monica Lovinescu now. finding yet again that women don’t grow into talented writers. great ladies, maybe.

finding it hard to work with contractors. out of the many,  few have the knowledge mentioned on paper and even fewer show any sign of wit. their management sucks and they request me to send praising emails to raise the team’s spirit. like the money our company pays to their company do not  pay  for their manager to take care of their employees happiness. thinking of strategies to set this line as thick as possible: we are clients. we are not, together, a team.

feeling hot. at days, unbearable.

the great gods of coding

that take business decisions. my frustration is up to the ceiling. and the mentality around is similar across all departments. do not upset the great gods of coding. they are around for 7, maybe 12 years.

oh, are they? then how one can explain the solutions that they just provided?

oh, well.

oh, well?

you have to test what the developer developed.

oh, no. i don’t.

not making friends these days.

hammock

i bought a hammock. similar to this one. but i don’t have a stand for it yet. i also found a proper stand (meaning – no cheap chinese plastic) which comes with the hammock and is 74 euros.

hammock

it would be easier to decide if it didn’t come with the hammock (which i already have).

another memorable caturday
